普利策奖最佳音乐剧《近乎正常》在百老汇首演15年后首次登上伦敦西区舞台！该剧由布莱恩·约尔基（Brian Yorkey）与汤姆·基特（TomKitt）合作创作词曲，曾于2009年获得托尼奖最佳原创词曲、最佳音乐剧女主角及最佳编曲三项大奖；西区版由丹玛尔仓库剧院艺术总监迈克尔·朗赫斯特（Michael Longhurst）执导，并由在百老汇音乐剧版《冰雪奇缘》中打造艾莎一角的凯茜·利维（Caissie Levy）、奥利弗奖得主杰米·帕克（Jamie Parker）、埃丽诺·沃辛顿-考克斯（Eleanor Worthington-Cox）以及杰克·沃尔夫（Jack Wolfe）等联袂出演。

作为一部在题材和音乐表达上都极具开创性的音乐剧，《近乎正常》“以一种少有音乐剧能企及的方式直击心灵”（《态度》杂志），深刻而细腻地探讨了现代家庭生活、心理疾病治疗等问题。故事讲述了患有双相情感障碍的母亲戴安娜·古德曼与疾病艰难抗争的故事，在疗愈过程中她的家人也实现了某种程度的自我重建。普利策奖评审委员会称赞该剧是 “一部探讨现代家庭与精神疾病的超强摇滚音乐剧，拓展了音乐剧创作的边界。”

该版《近乎正常》2023年率先登陆丹玛尔仓库剧院，备受赞誉，后转入西区温德海姆剧院连续驻演3个月，并获得奥利弗奖最佳新创音乐剧、最佳音乐剧女主角、最佳音乐剧男配角以及最佳音乐剧女配角4项提名。
